Default trading advice

So I found a truck that like just wanting some advice. I have a 2005 xlt rcsb 4.6 4x4. The truck I'm thinking about getting is a 2004 xl 5.4 rcsb 4x4 in the floor and sliding back glass. Truck has 168000 and amd the 04 has 127xxx. Guy will not change plugs but says the truck was not ragged at all was a friend of his. But there is a warranty on the engine and Transmission for 30 days. What would you do. I do like the truck and has everything I want just kinda iffy on it

If the 04 runs good, I'd do it. The only things I don't like about my 04 FX4 are that I don't have shift levers for the transfer case, and the rear glass is one piece. But an even trade for a truck with less miles, a bigger motor, and has everything you want, sounds good to me. Listen to your gut though. I have bought cars because I wanted them, and ended up dumping a ton of money into them (like my old '66 Mustang).

^^ this to a T. I wanted to be the cool kid in high school with a sporty fast hatchback so I bought one. Didn't think about it. Didn't research anything, just gave some dude my money. Ended up pouring money into that stupid Nissan my entire high school days and practically have it away to anyone who would tow it far, far away from my line of sight!

Just go with your gut. If it's a better fit for you, get it! Just look it over and drive it if you can because you know for sure what you have! You don't want to downgrade and end up loosing out in the end!

Would you get money back? Otherwise, no. That 4.6 is bulletproof. The 5.4 while good, not as much longevity as that mighty 4.6. I see cabs and town cars withnthev4.6 with ove half a million miles all the time.
