Default Trade my 05 XLT for a 00 Lughtning?

So I've done a bunch of work to an 05 f150 5.4 4x4 110,000 miles that I bought a while back. It is done and runs good but the body isn't perfect, no rust just dents and scratches. And interior is kind of dirty.

He wants to trade that for his 2000 ford lightning with 103,000 miles. Fresh paint and overall nice looking truck. Plus $800.

Here are the links to the craigslist ads:

http://rmn.craigslist.org/cto/4516344589.html

http://lacrosse.craigslist.org/cto/4574226782.html

Let me know what you guys think?

Good or bad decision?

I don't use my 05 because I have a much nicer 06 F150 with the same drivetrain.

link won't work but I'd do it in a heartbeat especially being that you have another truck when you need something more practical. I bet it'd be super fun plus a nice rare item as well. big step up from a truck you'll admit yourself is a bit beat, and probably more reliable

The links work if you copy and paste them? At least they did for me.

And I am leaning towards going for it. It is more reliable I bet and nicer. Thanks for the input!

Anymore is appreciated!

I will go check it out tonight. My main concern is that the new paint was done right and not a backyard paint job.

The original hood and headlights are included with the truck too. So that is nice. But hood was not repainted unfortunately and neither was the bed of the truck. Hopefully not too many other corners were cut.
