Default TPMS and new wheels

I just bought wheels from someone off Craigslist. I got a great deal and they are awesome, but after 2 days, the TPMS light came on. I called them and there are no sensors in these wheels. I could pay $60 a piece from Discount or is there a way to override the TPMS light? Is there a fuse to pull? I am thinking about a SCT tuner, will that allow me to override the light? I really don't want to pull the bulb if I don't Have to.

Those are sweet. Pull the tpms out of your factory wheels and put them in those with new bands

You won't be able to override the tpms light with a tuner. You just need to put the old sensors with new bands or if yours were the snap in kind like mine have discount tire swap them over

You can not pull the bulb for the TPMS light, but a small piece of electric tape behind the cluster overlay will block it out. Or do as everyone else said and have old sensors reinstalled.

Same thing happened to me.... New wheels didn't come with TPMS and we sold the old ones with TPMS in them before we realized that. Lesson learned for the future... I'm leaving the light on for now...

I have aftermarket valve stem pressure sensors...was a bit of hassle to get them to recognize using a snap-on tpms tool but they work on my 07
