Default Toyo Open Country A/T's. Opinions?

I found a set of Toyo Open Country A/T's, in a 275/70/18, for $830.00 shipped. That seems like a good price, but Im not sure on the quality of these tires. Just wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experiences with them.

Thanks!!

I've got 22" Toyo A/T on mine, I have 15K miles with not a sign of wear, just make sure you rotate them.

heard that they are a great tire, lot of people swear by them, they do come with a price tag, basicly the same tire as nitto (toyo makes nitto) terra grappler with a different sidewall

So i went onto discounttires.com, and they have the nitto terra grapplers listed for 222.00 a piece. On Onlinetires.com, they have them listed as 202.95 shipped. At discounttires they also add tax. I can get them from onlinetire for 811 shipped for all four. It came out 893 at discounttire. So I let them know. Hopefully they will match it.

you have 22" tires, do you mean you have toyo a/t's for 22" wheels?

yeah i've had the terra grapplers and i have a friend that has the toyo a/t's. the terra grapplers have a lot more aggressive tread on them but do not last as long because the nitto line is made with a softer rubber.

Good to know. Maybe if discounttires.com carried toyos, I would try to get them through them. But onlinetires.com has the toyos for 830 shipped. Maybe its worth the extra 1.75/tire.

Toyos hands down. I love my Toyo Mud Terrains. Toyo makes great tires that last a long time if proper rotation intervals are followed and air pressure is kept at correct levels.

I have them in 35x11.50 on stock 18's and love them. Great traction in the snow and rain. I'll definitely go with this brand again.

Just avoid rusty pipes laying in a field... Other than that, I didn't have a problem with them!!
