Default Toyo O/C AT2 XTs

I have a 2006 SCREW 4x4 with Rancho Quicklifts and I am looking to purchase the Open Country AT2s. I'm curious to know what tires will rub and if anything will need to be trimmed. I am interested in the 285/75/18 or the 295/70/18. I know the 285/75s are a bit taller and the 295/70s are a bit wider. My main concern is rubbing the UCA and not so much the plastic valance. I have read the recommended tire fitment thread and according to that post anything below 35x12.50 will fit a leveled truck of this year. Also I am looking to keep the factory 18" rims. I did come across several similar concerns with these tires sizes but they seem to be with the Nitto Trails or both tires have fit without any issues on the newer 09+ models. If anyone has any info on these tires it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I have an 05 thats leveled 2 inches and am looking at the same tires. Also wanting to keep the stock wheels. I think the 285's are going to be the better choice due to their lesser width. The factory 7.5" wheels are going to cause some degree of tread center wear, and the 295's will just be worse. They will also be closer to the UCA. I have a set of 285's in the MT tread that came off my F350. Im going to put them on one of these days and see how they fit (and run them out before buying new). I currently have 275/70-18 Toyo AT2's on the 150 and they refuse to wear out.
P.S. I just put a new set of the AT2 Extremes (285) on the 350 and really like them.

Thanks! I have 275/70 BF Goodriches rugged trail on there now and hated them. I had the OC MTs on my other F150 and loved them as well which is why I'm sticking with toyo so I'm happy to hear that your 275/70s are kicking ***. My issue with the 275/70s was that they are not in the XT sizes and they're in that funny range within the wheel wells where they look a little small. I'm digging the 285/75s from pictures just wish I could find it on a later model and not a 2013 etc. but you made a great point about the width.

Just an update. Seems like the 295/70s are out of stock everywhere from online vendors and my local shops. Looks like it's the 285/75s! Will keep yall updated.

I'd like to see a picture when you get them. Of course then I'll probably have to go out and buy a set too.

I run the 295/70/18 AT2s. No rub on anything. 2" level. Have also installed the 285/75/18 AT2s on other leveled F150s with no rub also. (I work with wheels/tires/etc) And yes, the 295s are on back order.

I'm trying do get these in a 35x12.50 r20 and it's proving to be a challenge.. They are on national back order! I also got roped in on a sale and needed to get a refund because places are selling them and neglecting to tell you they are on back order and out of stock.. They even lie over the phone! So be careful.
I found some on Amazon and I'm about to pull the trigger again... Wish me luck! and check amazon for the size you want..
Make sure they are the extreme size too, or else you won't get that beefy sidewall that really makes the tire stand out and dig in..
