Default Toyo m/t tread life question

I've had my Toyos on for about a year and a half now with 35-37 psi. The center treads are wearing more than the inner and outer so is this normal or should I drop the psi down close to 30-32 psi ? Oh and I rotate every oil change

It sounds like the tires are fairly wide for the rims, but yes the solution would be to drop the pressure. The M/T is not a long lived tread to begin with.

So what would be a good, long life tread tire for pavement. I thought the Toyos were suppose to run 60k plus miles considering rotation, inflation etc ? Plus I thought Toyo was one of the best tires out there.

I just looked at my tires and my front driver has a good 1/4"-5/16 tread where as the front pass and rear tires have close to 3/16 tread (center tread). Any suggestions on how to fix that ?

I'm not knocking the Toyos, thats all I use but the M/T is the most aggressive tread pattern and has the shortest highway life as a result. The AT2 extreme is a good compromise. I have them on both trucks, LT 285/75-18 in both cases. Continuous rotation (as you have) is key.

If you run larger than stock tires tire pressure should be lower to get even tread wear.
