I can get employee price on new and I'm looking at the FX4. Does anyone here have the '08 FX4 that would say the towing capacity is nearly as good as the beefed-up '09? I will be towing and enclosed trailer weighing about 6,000#, 7-8 months out of the year...daily. I sure could save some $ being that I've seen some good prices on pre-owned '08 models. I'm looking for advice from someone that tows...not sure who to believe at the dealership. Lastly, am I under-buying for it's use (in other words, should I step up to the 250 diesel if I'm using it this way every day)? Thanks for any advice. God bless ><>

IMO if you tow that much, buy a 3/4 ton, your gonna wear that f150 out in no time. i would step up to a diesel if it were my choice.
