Tow mirrors question?

The black wire should be all you need to move. From the other write ups, I think you need to clip the wire, leave a couple of inches to work with, push the little metal pin receiver with wire out the front of the plug with a jewelers screwdriver or something small like. Insert it back into the pin 8 location reconnect the wire and it should be good to go. I don't think you can pull the wire/pin receiver thru the back of the plug but it might be possible, to push it up enough to bend the tabs then pull it through.

Simple once i got the wiring down....(thanks to you) but not cutting needed. Simply move the female side of the connector.(truck side) Move 2 to slot 8 and bang blinkers and power adjust work perfect. Moving the pins is easy to. I used a fishing hook pinch the barb down with a pair of pliers and slide it into the connector the same way the wire goes it. The hook or small wire will push the clip inside the connector up enough to simply pull the wire out. Then just push it into slot 8 plug back together and your done. On my 04 xlt on both drivers and passenger door "slot 2" is a black wire incase anyone is confused by the wire diagrams. (Black is gnd) only option that fails to work is the puddle lamp. And on my application i would need to run a separate wire. So basically if you have 6 wires coming from your truck to the mirror your pre wired for power adjust and turn signals just need to move one pin to make function! Gotta love this forum for all the handy information. This is by far the best site on the net for great F150 information!

Im pretty sure 07-12 is pre wired for adjust turn signals and puddle lamps. You'll know as soon as you take your door panel off by how many wires you have coming from the truck. But from what iv read your gonna be plug and play

jwsboard1-Thats great! Enjoy! I find myself using the small convex mirror on the bottom alot. This forum is great but bad from my bank account- I keep finding cool things to add on my truck.
M1RK3D-It is probably already in your harness and I'd bet yours will be plug and play. It will be easy to see once you get your door panel off. I am not sure if puddle lamps where even an option available for jwsboard1 and my model years.
