Default Tow mirror help?

Before I begin, yes I've used the search function, and I'm sure this has been covered numerous times, but I can't seem to find any pictures on how to do it. I just ordered a set of two mirrors for my truck from a1auto, I currently have a 2004 xlt with power mirrors. I ordered the power, blinker, heat, puddle mirrors. I couldn't care less about the heat considering I live in California, or puddle lights really, but I wanted the blinkers. Can anyone explain to me, some pictures would be great, how to wire these to have the blinkers working? I'm also no genius with wiring (slowly learning), but you guys have helped numerous times before, and I think you can come through again . Thank you!!

I'm trying to figure out the same thing, I bought a set of 09 power mirrors with signals and auto dimming drivers side new in the box. I have an 05 XLT with just power mirrors, I know for the signals you have to switch some pins around I'm trying to figure out which pins need to be switched.

I tapped into the wires for my rear brake lights in the door sills on each side. That way they blink with turn signals, and also act as extra brake lights when I slow down.Just another option

So I got my signals working I just had to move the ground pin #2 on the trucks wiring harness to the #8 slot and then both signals worked. I'm assuming it would be the same thing for the tow mirrors.

Awesome, thanks everyone for the help. Hopefully this is all it takes! Your mirrors look great by the way!

Thanks I like them a lot better than the old ones. Here's a picture of the plug, the #2 will be a black wire and #8 should be empty. What I did to remove the pin was took a small key ring straightened it and used that to pull the little tab that's inside away so you can pull the pin out.
