Default Took the "chrome" strip off

The stupid chrome strip the dealership put in right before I bought it started peeling off so I helped it out by taking it off. Lol. What do you guys think?

I did like it on but it looked like crap when it was peeling. I wish they didn't put it on when I saw the pic of it before I bought it it wasn't on then I go to drive it and it was on. I was like what the hell! Lol.

How did u take it off? Assuming its just stuck on with double sided tape, looking at taking mine off to dechrome my truck but dont want any paint coming off with it. Ive read to take a heat gun to it first to loosen the tape better.

Is there a big difference in paint color or anything? I have the same chrome strip, and I've wanted to take it off, but it seems like its on there pretty good... Any problems with peeling paint off?
