after having a hardcover on a truck, I will NEVER own another one.

I use my truck as a truck, and haul things quite a bit, and the hard covers make doing so a pain.

on the other hand, they are great at keeping things dry and safe, but you are not loading things with a skidsteer....

the spoiler was an option... as well as u can also have a led brake light in the spoiler... i opted not to do the brake light because contrary to popular belief led lights do go out... and to replace the led light in that spoiler was 75 bux.

Bedrug is very stable and doesn't move around. I have loaded some photos in my gallery. The top is completely waterproof and has a nice rubber gasket seal. For my use of this truck it works great. I primarily have golf clubs, hunting gear, luggage for trips, camping gear, groceries, etc. in the back. I have a trailer for hauling nasty stuff... The leer/bedrug combo works for me.

Check out the picks.

Default That is my dilemma

I don't want a one piece hard cover cause I go to auctions and come home with all sorts of stuff. But I do want one when go skiing to hide my equipment. I like the smooth look though, but I was thinking of one that folded. decisions decisions

I have an 07 S/CREW & 800 Leer w/ remote opener. LOVE IT!!!! I looked at many different brands of covers & Leer quality is top notch. Light works great, quick connect system, can uninstall in 5 mins. Overall, I'd give the Leer 800 a 9.5 out of 10. And here is why not 10 of 10.... With the Leer 800, if you have a bed extender, you can not roll it out with the cover on. You have to detach it & flip it over & re-attach. You can shut the cover & it will latch down with the tailgate down & bed extender in use.

Bedrug....I opt for the Bedrug too. No complaints at all, fits perfct, no sagging. Carpet on the cover & the bedrug match perfect.

Default rolling cover

Have you thought about a rolling hard cover? I have a Pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit and love it. All the benefits of a locking hard cover but it's still easy to load bulky stuff. Only a few drips of water get in along the tailgate. A friend bought a Roll Bak and has a large amount of water get in at the front of the bed. I havn't looked closely but I'm thinking there's a problem that could be fixed.

I have the retrax rolling cover. It locks in any position, keeps everything bone dry and makes picking up large items a breeze. It even holds my garbage cans in place when I go to the dump. Its about the same price as the hard covers without the options.

Ya, my buddy has one and he loves it, but I'm afraid of someone knifing it and stealing all my stuff. I am up at college and have nowhere to keep most of my stuff, so i just have it in the back of my truck currently have a camper shell on it, but want to go with something a little more sleek. I feel that with a hard cover my $300 steelhead rods, snowboard, and camping gear will stay safe.

The rolling covers are aluminum and poly. You can stand on them. They wont cut with a knife. You may be thinking of the soft tonneau covers. These roll up like a garage door.

I LOVE to go to auctions and get a bunch of stuff. I am thinking of a good soft cover. I can roll it up easy enough and its not that expensive.
