Tires and Wheels Have Been Selected.. Please Help
OK, for my truck, and with the help of a salesperson, the wheels and tires for my truck have been selected... but not put on yet.
The truck has been leveled with Auto Springs 2" leveling kit. The picture does not reflect that change. The truck is a 2007 F150 2wd XLT but with some STX features.
I'm here asking for help regarding the selection that has been made but can be changed by Monday morning if necessary.
I went with the Red Dirt Road RD01. 17" wheel with 0 offset.
The tire that was chosen was a Cooper Discoverer ATP 285/70/17.
Are these good options for my vehicle? I didn't mention above that my truck is a 2wd. Could I have used a different size tire? Am I losing power or will this setup damage my truck in any way? The guy said he didn't think the 295/70/17 (that I was asking for) would work.
Everything will be ordered Monday morning and these will be installed Wednesday or Thursday unless someone talks me out of it or tells me it's a bad idea. I know nothing about this type of thing so I come here seeking advice from the experts before I do something I shouldn't have.
Thanks a lot for any help or assistance you can be. I really appreciate it.

I'm still torn over the 285 and 295. Just talked to the sales person again and he thinks a 295 would be ok with a positive offset but with a 0 offset he thinks it would not be Ok. I had been told 33's would be fine, the 285's are 32's.
