You are nuts if you thibnk the BFG isn't a good tire. I had BFG All Terrain on 3 diffrent trucks and the wore GREAT. Lasted almost 70 k on one truck. I kept them rotated and kept the correct pressure in them. I also had them on correct sized rims. Alot of ppl put them on rims too wide or too skinny and that makes them wear wrong. The KOs have the rubber edge that protects the rim.

They are very quiet, very smooth, very soft for low profile 18s, and mine have 50000 miles on them and still have plenty of tread. I'm very pleased and will be buying more when it comes time. The 17s look more aggressive than the 18s because of tread depth.
I had the Revos. They were quiet, but did not do as well offroad for me and did not last as long. It was a decent tire just not to my liking.

I have heard that the taller tread Revos, like the 15"s and 16"s wear very quickly. Mine have lasted 50k so I can't say they wear quickly, but they only had 11/32" of tread brand new. Kinda weird. But you're right, they are not for offroading at all. I saw some Toyo Open Country A/Ts today while fixing my girlfriend's car at the shop. I think I am going to try them because they are cheaper than the Revos and I would like to offroad more.
