Default Tires

ok so i know everything im fixing to talk about is already mentioned everywhere but im going to bring it up again. I have 2wd supercrew lariat with stock 265/70/17. I dont want to really spend more than $2,000. I want to go with a leveling kit and the biggest tires i can possibly put on without rubbing or having to trim anything. from what i have read is that i can only put up to 33s. Would 33s be 285/70/17? I want to use same rims just new tires. Do yall think it would look aggressive enough with 3" level and 33s on 2wd?

285/70/17's (33") fit perfectly on the stock wheels. That's what I have on my supercab 4x4, and they look plenty aggressive. (BFG all-terrains). PLUS, they fit on my truck without the leveling kit. I added a 2" afterwards. Your truck, with a 2" kit would fit fine.

Yeah, it'd be pretty close. A 2 inch leveling kit, and 1 inch rear block would put you close to a stock 4x4 ride height. A 3 inch level with 2 inch block would get you near the height of a leveled 4x4. I'm not sure EXACTLY what the height difference is between the 2 stock. The tires fitting won't be an issue at all though.

the difference is around 2 inches between a stock 2wd and 4wd.

The 285x70x17's look good on a leveled 4x2. Get an aggressive looking AT or MT to make it look great.
