Tires for 2004. Maxxis Bighorns? 305 70 17?
I have read about a thousand posts all over the internet so far on this topic, and still can not figure it out maybe I am just crazy. I have a 2004 XLT 4x4 with a 2.5" leveling kit
on the front. I want to either put 285/70 R17's or 305/70 R17's. I like the maxxis Bighorns out of every brand I have looked at. My truck has the 4.6 in it though and I am worried that the 305 might bog it down and cause it to really guzzle the gas. I am pretty sure that I have already confirmed the the 305 70 17 will fit with no rubbing. Can anyone tell me what this size of tire will do to my truck or am I just worrying to much?
