All told, I'm looking for a better value for him, as he just started a new job and is short on cash. Any suggestions?

The 235/75/17 is just under an inch taller. He should be able to fit that no problem.

OK, good to go, thank you. Now, any suggestions as to how to deal with his internet phobia?

Lol like does he just get nervous about conversing with people on forums?? If so it's okay I used to be the same way. He just needs to make an account and read and soak up as much as he can. Just "stalk" the forum and he will see that nobody here is out to get the "new guys" and pick apart everything you say as wrong. The first forum I was apart of I probably read daily but didn't post until about a year or year and a half later.

...Love this set up. I also just got the RC 2.5 Level kit w/ the rear blocks and shocks. How much trimming did you have to do?? Also is there anyone running the RC Level kit with the 35 Nitto's and stock 17 in wheels? Just not sure if I want to drop the extra $800 right now for the wheels.

Hey guys, just a quick question...

If i wanna go with the 275/65 18 tires on a stock 2008 Ford F150 FX4, what size rim could i use. I am looking at getting either an 18x8.5 or 18x9. Would they fit? or would they be too big? I really don't want any rubbing issues.

Thanks

just got my 06 f150 xl 2wd and put on MKW 133's 22x9.5 with a 35 offset and nitto 420s 305/40/22's. Everything rides great, never touch's, generally no prob. my question is i noticed your charts tops out at 9" even tho i dont have problems what should i look out for. just rebuilt front end. rides great.

Hey everyone I have a few questions. I have an 05 XLT 4x4 with 2.5" leveling kit.

Will 285/70/17's work on the stock 17" rims?

And also, I'm looking at getting some Moto Metal MO951 rims, which are 17x9. Will either my current 265/70/17's or the 285/70/17's that I plan on getting work on them? My stock rims as I understand are only 7.5" wide. Will the same tires fit on a 17x9 rim?

Thanks!
