Default tire sizes

i currently have manufactor suggested tire size of 265/60-18 for a 2004 F-150 Lariat 4-door. i have found 285/60-18 at a considerably cheaper price. will the tires fit my truck?

The turck I have alrady had some kind of kit on it, he said it was a one inch spacer, It dose squat in the front but im not sure if thats the lift or the front end replacement. Anyways Im running a Mazzi Hulk 18x10 not sure of backspacing but it dose stick out a ways. Very little trimmed and running a 33x13.50, I want to run a 35x12.5 but I think I will have to get hellbentsteels 3 inch lift to fit them

to run 35's on those wheels you will need a lift kit, or willing to trim alot.

sooooooo ok. If i understand what Im reading, I can with a 2" leveling kit on my 04 FX4, put 35s on my stock rims with no rubbing? Atm im running 32" (not sure of the metric size) general grabbers and im actually more worried about clearance in the rear wheel wells.

Ok so, after reading all this i think my plans are good for a 17 x 9 with 5.98" backspacing and running 33x12.5 pro-comp a/t's..maybe some minor rubbing on a sharp corner. That's the best i can figure...Stock suspension. Am i correct on this thinking?
Thanks

I was wondering if it was at all possible to run 325-50-22 on a 3 inch leveling kit and an extra inch in the back. the rims are gonna be the monster hd that are 22x9.5. im sure it will rub but would it be driveable

New to the forum
Hey fellas, I have read a ton of your posts and they have been really helpful.

I need your help because despite my searches, I havent found someone with my setup (or at least pictures or testimonial).

I have an 05 lariat 2wd. While many have said that once a leveling kit is put on that 35" will fit 4wd and 33" will fit 2wd, I havent seen or heard of anyone doing it. I really wanted a 4x4, but couldnt pass up the monster deal i got on my truck.

I have already purchased a 2.5" leveling kit (2.5" front, 1" block in back). Will add a leaf on rear if necessary (hoping not to have to). I am going to try and knock out the installation this weekend if I get time.

My question is this.
My understanding is that I currently have 18" stock wheels on it now.
After the lift, I want to step up to 285/65/18 BG Goodrich A/T (with stock rims). Do you fellas see any problems with this?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 06 FX4 X cab with 275 65 18, will 285 65 18's fit without rubbing or should I add the 2.5" suspension lift? I assume these will fit the stock wheels.
