is it really this difficult?
so ive read every page and only feel confused. I have a 2004 4x4 screw with 125,000 miles on it. all suspension is stock. it currently has 265/70 R17 on it. if i put a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit on the front can i put a 315/70 R17 on the stock 17 inch rims? (with no rubbing?)

Hey guys.
I had looked everywhere and this site was very helpful.
I had a 2005 F150 Screw 2WD. I wanted big but not over the top.
I put a 3" level in front and 1" block in back.
I ended up putting on 275/70/18 BFG. I am extremely pleased with the look. Appreciate the input on this board.
There is no rubbing or need to trim the valance with these tires. They fit the area nicely and give a pretty decent and aggressive stance for a 2WD.
Would have love to have leveled out a 4WD, but the price couldnt be beat on this one and I am pretty happy with this truck.
Hope you enjoy.

Ok, just read everything and noticed there aren't a lot of guys running 17" wheels. I don't have the money to get new rims yet, but my tires need replacing. So I'm looking at getting some 33s for now.
The problem is, I don't want the 12.5 Width. I would be super happy with something around 10", but its almost impossible to find a 33x10.50x17 tire.
BFG has the KM2 mud tire in a 255/80R17, but I only need all-terrains...
Can anyone help?

Thanks Bob. I took it through some nasty rutted out dirt trails and had no probs. with clearance with these tires, which is surprising because when I look under the truck it doesn't seem like a whole lot, and when I looked at those ditches they were DEEP! There was no bottoming out or rub that I could notice, and I was pushing the truck pretty good.
