04 f-150 xlt 4x4.. RC leveling kit (2.5 front , 1 inch in the rear)
Wanting to run 20x10 -24 offset with 35's or 33's if I absolutely have to. Was wanting to run 20x12 -44 offset but I was told that it wouldn't work out to well. But I have a friend running 20x12 -51 offset just fine with 33's. Help? Was told to come to this thread for it is very handy.

Reporting in...
2006 FX4 4x4 with Billstein 5100's set at the 2" leveling height
Pro Comp 20x9 7032 wheels with 0 offset (5" backspace)
Nitto Exo Grappler AWT 305/55R20 (33.46" actual diameter by 12.44" wide)
It was a tight fit:
But it only rubbed in the front, so I trimmed the plastic below the front bumper using a simple utility knife from this:
To this:
I think the exo's are a little larger than the average 305/55R20, which is normally an even 33" tire. Without that extra .46" in diameter I probably wouldn't have had to trim.

Haven't been able to read all 158 pages, and search hasn't given me a definitive answer. 2008 F150 stock XL 2WD manual everything had 235/70R17s on em. I've had 235/75R17 Blizzaks on em. Will this take 235/80R17s ? I'd like to go taller than the 75s as they seem to work better during the winter. Stock steel wheels ...
Actually, I think I just found the clue:

On a stock truck without leveling kit you can run 33X12.5" tires if it is a 4WD and 31X12.5" tires if it is a 2WD, using stock wheels.
235/80R17 = 31.8x9.3R17
Looking at the Michelin LTX M/S2 LT235/80R17
So I can? or cannot run these? It looks like the 31x is smaller than the 31.8 of the 235/80R17. Is this true?
Thanks,
Ed

They'll fit with no problem. I ran them for a while but didn't like how skinny they were.

Thanks ak_cowboy.
After all that, I'm going with Michelin Defender LTX M/S 235/75R17 instead of the 80s. I've had Blizzak 75s on there before and they were fine. Looking forward to the Michelins ...
Thanks again!
