I've read through the first 13 pages and still can't find my question answered, so hopefully someone can help me out. I want to buy 35/12.50/18 tires for my 2004 F-150 FX4. I have a 2.5" level kit on. Will these tires fit or do I need to buy spacers? I was thinking of getting 1/4" spacers.. will that work? Do I need wider ones? Or do I even need them?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

i have a 2.5" leveling kit on my 06 with oem 20's and just put 35x12.50 toyo open country's on it.
yes, i had to run 1/4" spacers to clear the upper control arm.
also had to do some minor trimming on the valance.
fits like a glove now

Depends on which wheels you plan on using ...

I'll just be using my stock 18" rims and a friend of mine just gave me his Wrangler Duratrac's until I save up for new tires but they only have like 30% tread left so they should fit since they are worn down but I was thinking of buying the Mickey Thompson's Baja MTZ's and I heard some tires fit differently because of the tread so hopefully these will work with the 1/4" wheel spacers. I don't want to buy these then have them be too big.

You should be good on stock wheel's...may have to trim a tad bit..

2005 F150 S-crew Lariat

I need to order some tires, wanna do some new rims while I'm at it, putting on a set of KYB shocks and a 2.5" level.

Want to install Terra Grapplers, what size can I get away with on an 18x9 rim and how much backspace will I need??

Looking at a 18x9 rim with 4.5" backspace, considering a 325-60/18, which should spec out at 33.5x12.8, can i fit that?? or should I be looking at a 295-70/18 instead??

Thx!!

295/70 would work better

ok, cool, any preferences on the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 vs the AT model?? admittedly will see more highway use than I care for but can't avoid. Current using OEM size BFG TA KO's and they have been perfect, over 70k on the clock with 'em, though really pushing the max from them, probably well beyond what they should be
