I have an 05 F150 with Bilstein 5100's set at 2". I have GFX TR1 wheels 17x8.5 with a +15 offset. Currently running 285/70/17 Nitto Crosstek HD's. Thinking I am going to go with Maxxis Bighorn MT-762 35x12.5x17. Will they fit, or should I settle on the slightly less expensive 305/70/17?

Hi,

I have a bone stock 2004 F150 Super crew XLT I'm going to run the mickey thompson baja classic III 17x9 with the 6x135 mm bolt pattern & 5" back-spacing. My question is will I have any fitment/rubbing issues with a 265 or 285 size tire?

I guess my question is what is the largest size tire I can run on that wheel with no fitment/rubbing issues?

Any input would be great, thanks guys

2wd or 4wd ?
I have a 2005 4wd stock XLT w/265x70 R17's & tons of room (stock was 255's)
I've researched & seems I can put on 285's on a 17x9 rim without a problem
Still working on finalizing the backspacing

Ok so I've read through about 1/3 of this post and havent got my answer yet so ill just ask straight out. I have an 08 fx4 with the factory 20's. Im told it has a level kit on it (2-2.5") but I didnt put it on so I cant be certain. I would like to step wheel size down to a Fuel dune 17x9 with a -12mm offset and 4.5 backspacing. And a 35×12.5 Amp terrain master mt. Would this work or should I go down to a 33" tire. A little plastic trimming wont bother me at all. Thanks for any input!

Default tires

Sorry if this was answered previously, but I was not able to find the info in this thread.

what is the metric equivalent for 33 x 12.5

All tires I can find use the metric rating ex: 265/65/18

I have a 2007 fx4 with 18'' rims. I wondering what size to buy that would equal 33 x 12.5.

Any help appreciated !

So 275/70/18 should be fairly similar diameter and fit on stock height ?

I'm guessing 285/70/18 would not fit on stock height ?

Thx for the great thread !

Depends on your set up. Are you a 4wd or 2wd truck?
