Tire and wheel fitment guide for 04-08

This whole offset and backspacing is still a little confusing.. Can anyone clear this up for me? I have a 2005 FX4 that is leveled with quicklifts and 9000xl in the rear. I want to run 295/70/18s, but I don't want to do any trimming. I'm looking at the Fuel Pump 18x9 and they have 3 different offset and backspacing- 20mm offset 5.75in bs 14mm offset 5.5in bs 1mm offset 5in bs I would like about an inch or so to stick out from the wheel well but not too much more than that. One web site said I needed that 20mm with 5.75bs. But I have seen others run different.. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
I guess this may be the route I go. I like the look on your truck, that's what I'm looking for.
The web sites keep pushing me to a 14mm or 20 mm off set.

I had to trim a little on the valence so if you want to avoid that get the 14mm but it wasn't hard to do and you can hardly tell. I took a utility knife and heated it with a torch and it produced a very clean easy cut
