What about a 35x12.5R18 on a 18x9 wheel with 6" backspace and 25 offset.

Read the very first page. If the back spacing is more than what the OP wrote, then you're going to have major rub. I tried to go with more than what he said and had major rub issues. Just follow that guide and you should only have minor trimming issues depending on the actual dimensions of the tires and setup.

What kind of tire and and rim did you go with? What was the offset of the rim?

So I bought a set of Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.5x18s - got a deal I couldn't resist. I'm looking at 18x9" wheels and most seem to have +18 Offset (~5.7" Backspacing) so 1/4" more than the "Guidelines". If I buy a set of the 1/4" wheel spacers, would that correct the offset problem? Would I have problems with lug nuts, etc. (Oh, I'm going to have my 07 SCrew leveled using the Bilstein Struts) Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the spacer will add to your problem since your offset is +. With the minor offset you will more than likely have rub issues while turning in reverse.

I guess it depends on whether the problem is inside or outside. I'm looking at the wheel and tire guide and it says that positive offset means higher backspacing meaning the wheel is further inboard. So, I think, adding a spacer will push the wheel out which reduces the overall backspacing back to the 5.5" limit. Am I right?

I say stick with +18 and if you do rub on the inside (on the uca) then get the spacer. I have +1mm and I had to trim my valence and inside of the factory fender flair to clear and not rub with a 2 in level and the 295/70/18 which is slightly smaller but not by much

Mine are +1 too, and I had to trim with a 2.75"-3" lift
