I'm guessing you're getting new wheels? Make sure you have the stock backspacing.

I just got Nitto Terra Grapplers today. LT305/55/20. I have a 2.5 level. They clear vertically with no trouble at all. But they do rub at full lock if i'm braking. I paid $1,289 out the door. They look really good. At least they'll get me by until I can throw on a lift and get something bigger.

Dick Cepek rims and 35's
I am new to this forum and was wondering if this application would work for my truck. 2" Leveling kit installed just bought Dick Cepek dc1 17 9 rims with 4.56" backspacing -12mm offset and I am looking to put 33 12.5 17 tires on. Will I get much rubbing? Will this application work? Do I have to take off my mudflaps? Thanks

Ok so i know the 2wd will it 33s on the stock wheels and a leveling kit, but will it fit 35s with a leveling kit and a 3" body lift?
My plan was to do the 6" susp. lift with the 35s on the stock wheels for now, however funds arent available for the susp lift and i still want to raise my truck. if need be i will find a susp. lift later on that will work with whatever body lift kit i buy since this truck will never be off road, im just a huge fan of the look of big trucks.

I had a 3" suspension lift and slammed on 35s w/ aftermarket rims. No rubbing unless I hit a bump going over 30, and by bump i'm talking curb size bump, not these lil bumps in the road. This worked for city driving, even if I needed to hop a curb (I don't hop curbs doin 25). I did however do this because I was getting a 3" body lift a few weeks later.

thats great news then! with the 3" body 2.5" leveling kit and an add a leaf for 2.5" it will only be a .5" differance and $1000 cheaper.
That is definitely what im going to do, thanks a ton!

You may want to go with blocks in the rear instead of an AAL, you could probably find stock 4x4 blocks that someone took off for cheap and just order some new ubolts and nuts.

I actually parked next to an Fx4 with a 6" Lift and we were at the same height, mirrors, tailgates. Can't remember if he had the 35's or not but yea.
