I have an '06 King Ranch SCrew that came with fairly new Toyo Open Country MT 33x12.5x18's on stock rims, with no rubbing. But the truck looked a bit 'squatty' to me, so I added some Rancho Quicklifts and 9000's on the rear.

Overall I think it looks (and rides!) much better now, but the 33's kind of look a bit small now. I'd like to go to 35's when I replace these, but not sure the Rancho's give me enough lift to avoid cutting/trimming/etc. Also, my gas mileage is bad enough with the 33's. lol! Love these tires, though...

(obviously the car dealer lot with the balloons is when I bought it... haha)

Alright, I've read about 20 or so pages, and I may have missed it. I am going to put on a 2.5" level and want to run either 295s (33.4") or 305s (33.8"). I know I need a 8.5" wheel to fit 75s, but I think I'm going to go with 70s. My quandary is this, if I do go with 75s, what offset do I need? I know with my stock wheels I'll be fine running either 295/70R17 or 305/70R17. But I'm curious about the offset of the wheels needed to fit the wider tires.

I have an '06 with 315's on it and I have no rubbing when going forward, but when I go in reverse, it rubs the inside fender something fierce. I've trimmed about as much plastic as I am comfortable with. I'm going down to a 305 or 295.

You would be fine with either one. Just know that the 75 is actually less wide than a 70 in the same size tire. I know...it doesn't make sense, but it is all about ratios.

Really? So a 295/70 is WIDER than a 295/75? Mind is blown. I'm a relative newbie to this. Just got the truck in December and an planning out my moves as I modify.
