I have an 08 FX4 screw........looking at wheel/tire package at wheelfire.com and a set off wheels I like is the moto metal mo967 with 275/60/18 terra grapplers. However, they list the wheel at 18x10. That'll rub like crazy won't it?

Just researched a bit more and Moto Metal MO967 is only offered in -24 offset for our bolt pattern. WAYYY too wide of a stance for me

Ideally I'd like the tires to stick out maybe an inch or so.

17 inch is the smallest wheel you can fit on a 2004-2008 F150.

Decided to go with TIS-534B*18x9 0 offset, 5.00 backspacing. Thinking of wrapping it in 295/70 nitto terra

Will I rub?

Default 35x12.50 R18 on amp wheels with level kit and fender trimming

If your looking to put 35"s under your truck it will work fine I had a 3inch level kit on my with the stock wheels with these same cooper SST muds and it worked perfectly. It would only rub if my suspention was fully maxed out and my wheels were turned. So i took off my stock fender flares trimmed the fender flush with the body on the back side and gradulally went up my fender about 8 inches at an angle till it was flush put my flares back on re drilled the bottom bolt an inch further back now there isn't steel there anymore and no more rubbing and you cant even tell its trimmed. trimmed the front plastic on the bumper a tiny bit as well. I may just get some Cooper S/T Maxx in 275/65/18 instead of wheels and tires. They don't make a 295 in the s/t maxx but I love the looks and reviews of that tire.

Dont they make that tire in standard measurements? my mudders i got actually have 35x12.50 right on the side. If the maxx is anything like the STT which i do believe still has the insane side wall strength you got a win. Ive hit many rocks and tree's even had to drive home on a flat tire (valve stem broke off on a tree branch didnt even scratch the tire!) and the side wall held up the truck with no pressure in it! granted it was on the back bed side so there wasn't much weight but still made it back to the tire store. By far the best tire Ive owned far superior to the toyo's or BFG's I had on it before. Didn't get the as many miles out of them as the other brands but it had much more traction in all conditions due to the softer rubber. I have gone through two sets of these so far and got around 20-30k but I replace them as soon as they get a little under 1/2 tread when my traction starts going away. But the max is more of an all terrain so your going to get way more miles out of them then my STT's anyways.

I decided to just get the 275/70/18 but it's spec sheet lists maximum wheel width as 8.5" and the wheel I want is 9"......I'm really bummed

What about a back spacing of 5" wanting to run a 275 65 20 on a 20x9 trying to decide between a +1 offset or a +20 rather have more dish but don't want any rubbing issues
