Using aftermarket wheels you can run 35s on a 4WD if the wheels follow these guidelines:
-For an 8" wide wheel the backspacing is 5.5 inches.
-For and 8.5" wide wheel the backspacing needed is 5-6 inches.
-For an 9" wide wheel the backspacing is 4.5-5.5 inches.
Can anyone tell me what these back spaces convert to for mm offsets

I am running the same tires on my stock 18" Lariat rims and I have had no problems at all after 35,000 miles. They are great tires in the sand and snow btw.

Sorry if this has been asked in this thread or been brought up but what is the reason the 4X4 can have 35" tires and the 2wd can only fit 33" tires? Is it the 4X4 has more backspacing or that the rear is higher than the 2wd?

From Experience I can say i would go NO LARGER than a 33X12.50/20 with on 2.5" Leveling kit. I have a 2.5 Hell Bent Steel Level and just put a set of MB Torque 20X9 Wheels and a set of 305/55/20 (33X12.50) Nitto Terra's on it and i still had to do some light trimming in my front wheel wells to fit comfortable and to eliminate the possibility of anything ripping off when riding down the road
