Default Tire and rim question

I have the opportunity to buy BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires in 35x12.5r17 for a 175 for the set. I have an 07 Screw I know I will need a 2.5 leveling kit I believe to make them fit. I was just wondering will they fit on the factory 17 inch rims. Also what is a good leveling kit to get.

You need more then a leveling kit to run 35s. You should run those tires on a 17x9 rim stock are 17x8 IIRC

I disagree. If u are 4wd, they will fit with just a level. Here is mine with a 2 inch level and 315/70/17 on 17x8 wheels. Real close to a 35. The stock wheels are 7.5 inches wide if 17s. The 12.5 is recommended for a minimum of 8.5 inches wide rim, but many have run them on stock wheels. May wear funny, but for that price its worth it. What year is your truck? Mine is 06 and I have a friend with just a level and 35x12.5/20 Toyo mts that only rub minimally at full turn on uca. Mine don't rub at all. May need a slight wheel spacer/adapter to work with the stock wheels.
