Default Tire pressure sensors question when getting new wheels...

Hey guys looking into getting some Ultra Rogue wheels with Firestone Destinations for my fathers 2008 F-150 @ The Tire Rack. It asks about buying new tire pressure sensors for $348 more if I have them mount & balance the tires on the wheels. If he has the mounting and balancing done locally can they just re-use his existing sensors? His truck came with the cheap Ford 17" steel wheels with hubcaps.

Here's a picture of these Rogue wheels by the way. I think they look great! And they are only $138 for the 18x8.5's.

Yes, they can use your existing sensors. The tire shop may need to buy larger straps if the replacement rims are larger, but they can be reused (sensors).

My tire shop reused the sensors and I had to buy new "bands" to hold the sensors on. I think I paid about 15 bucks for the set. The bands are just really big hose clamps.
