jwsboard, Look into 285/70 BFG All-Terrain KO's great tire! Will fit your needs perfectly.
If you're worried about cash, invest in a leveling kit (about $200 installed with an alignment) you can run bigger, wider tires and you'll be very happy with the look of your truck, just some food for thought.

Because the chevy owner was the only one willing to drive the 200 miles to pick up my ford after the engine spun a bearing at 82k miles and left me and my wife stranded on side of the road for 4 hours.

Thanks for the help guys hopfully i didnt bore everyone to bad with a pretty lame thread just wanted to make sure before i dropped the coin. So 285-70-17's itll be any other tire sugestions? And props to the buddy with the chev. Sounds like a good friend!

Yeah prob my best friend, its my dads, thats the only reason I allowed the pic to be taken ha ha. I was always brought up a chevy person and the minute I bought my first truck that wasnt a ford he gave me a load of sh&t so when this happened he had to have proof ha ha. Its all good though I still love the ford but have to admit that the 1500HD would rip it apart in every category.
