Default Tire advice/ leveling kit

I just recently purchased a 2004 4x4 screw and I wanted to get some advice from yall. When i get the money right I want to put on a leveling kit and get some mud tires. I have a buddy that has a newer king ranch and he has a 2inch leveling kit with the 305 equivalent size tire for the 18 inch rim. I have 17's. I have talked to some people and they say that with the leveling kit you can fit a 35x12.5x17 tire with no rubbing etc, but on the other hand I have heard different. I am not really sure yet if i want to go with the 33inch or 35, but I will be getting the leveling kit soon. My buddy has a 2inch and it seems about perfectly level. I just wanted anyone that has this tire/leveling combo to chime in with some advice. Thanks

I just installed the Rancho Quick Lift sytem on my truck with the Rancho 9000 XL shocks in the rear. I have 18x9 wheels with a 33x12.50 tire and there is no rubbing at all. Will post pictures in profile soon.

On a 2004 truck like mine I had to use a 2 1/2" kit to get it level. I was able to clear 315x70x17 BFG AT's easily on a 17x8 wheel. Also you can go with a 305x70x17 Maxxis Buckshot or Bighorn Mudders these are great tires at a good price and or close to 34 inches tall, may be a better fit than squeezing on 35's. Just my 2 cent's.
