3 full coats. Cleaned and sanded beforehand. I took my time and taped off the reverse lights and I am glad I did. Brake lights are still visible, but I have a tailgate LED bar just to be sure.

That looks real nice! I wish I would've taped off the reverse lights. I need to get the LED bar just in case..

The tails actually look darker or not as red in person. I ordered the recon hyperlite bar from amazon for 60 or so and I love it but I have issues with it clearing the tailgate when I open and close it.

I tinted them I am doing my 3rd light braking now

I Used to like them smoked minus the reverse light, but now I think it looks better with the whole light smoked. Make sure you wet sand them after you put on clear coat and then apply Meguiars ultimate compound. This will get out all impurities and leave it with a perfect finish
