I'm buying a timing kit for my 05 f150. It also comes with an oil pump and water pump, and I'll also be replacing the phasers. Basically what I need to know is although this kit is off eBay, is it a reliable kit? It's made by a company called domestic gaskets. Has anyone used it before or dealt with the company? I'll post a picture below. Thanks in advance!

Im a true beleiver in you get what you pay for. Seeing how the motorcraft timing kit alone is $275 (i was just looking into it actually haha) id say i wouldnt trust that stuff. Especially being as important as timing and oil pump. Spend the money for peice of mind at least.

That's also what I was thinking, I just needed a second opinion! So u would suggest ordering the timing kit, pumps, and phasers all separately from motorcraft?

In my opinion, i wouldnt put anything on my truck that wasnt motorcraft. Why change something you know is designed specifically for the application.

So should I also get motorcraft cam phasers? Or find a good aftermarket brand that isn't as prone to failing? I just replaced my VCT's with the 3rd revision style.
