Default Timing Chain Tensioner

I own an 04 SC XLT w/ 66000 mile on it and I just wanted to get a feel on how soon I would have to replace the timing chain tensioner. So, if you have had to change yours could you post your truck, miles and how many times if it was more than once.

FWIW, I was speaking with my mechanic a couple days ago. He said the tensioner should last a long time provided your keep the oil filled to the high level of the dipstick as it draws oil from being partially immersed in the crankcase oil. He also recommended using synthetics.
