Default Time for Tires

I'm want an aggressive looking tire that won't break the bank, around the $800 range. I've been looking but theres so many options and I want to hear some real reviews. My main concern is treadwear. I don't drive off road much so the aggressive look with good tread wear are my main concerns. There going on the factory rims so I need 275/65/18. I would greatly appreciate everyones experience about who is easy to deal with also. Thanks

I have the nitto terra grapples. Great looking tire and perform very well. Ive only had them in sand and they handled great. On the highway they are quite and are also good in the rain. check my galleries for pics

I bought the General Grabber AT 2 tires for mine, the tread is similar to a BFG all terrain, they grip well, do well in snow and mud. They have a little hum to them running down the highway but nothing out of the norm for an all terrain tire. So far they are wearing well. I have about 12K on them. I will probably buy another set in the future as long as they don't wear out in the next 10,000 miles.

$155 at tirerack.com is hard to beat, I like the look as well. Do you know how long the tread is rated at?

The General Grabbers I was told have a 50,000 mile warranty. There are two types you can get the regular grabbers or the LT grabbers. Both are 10 ply tires. Not sure why the LT is different. The LT does have more tread depth then the regular ones do
