^^^I agree, there is no perfect led drop-in for reflector housings on our 04-08 trucks. Its a shame, as I would be willing to try a set. I tried boost bars set and it was horrible.

I forgot to add that the ones I'm running are much MUCH brighter than any aftermarket halogen bulb I've ever used. The light is also very white which I like.

There is a vendor on here, 4x4 truck leds.com. Has gotten good reviews for plug in leds. He gives a forum discount too.

I use the led headlights from 4x4truckleds. Here's my review: https://www.f150forum.com/f83/honest...lights-348000/

I was 100% against PnP led headlights before trying his. I battled him on another forum and ended up trying his because he claimed they were better. I gave it a shot as he offered me full money back if I wasn't pleased. Needless to say I still have them in my truck and have now been helping him test stuff. We've come a long way and he's a good dude.

I need for the fog lights do. I think honestly I am going to put in an order from 4x4 truck leds and try them out. I like the idea of them not having to warm up.

You guys think purchasing a projector housing type of headlight would increase the effectiveness of the led's??? Seems like it might be the best of both worlds?

I think if you bought his LEDs, you don't need to do that. They have a good cutoff with the reflector and will give you better vision. I also think they're designed to work with a reflector housing. Not that you wouldn't have good results with a projector, but I just don't think it's needed with these.

I guess I will do the headlights with the reflector then to keep that look, gonna probably order the ebay ones with the clear amber reflector. I hate anything yellow on a white truck unless its lighting up lol. I will probably have to seal the headlights from what I hear, but their only 100 bucks anyways. The led's are what are important to me, so do I just say I am a member, or is their someone I need to ask for when I call for the discount??

These are the plan, with Led's I think it will be a clean setup. The real key is finding this freakin saleen grill.

Thats who I just bought a pair from a month ago. Seem to be okay quality, but yes, run a nice thick bead of black RTV around the lens to housing seal and then also around the black rubber seal where the bulb is.
