Default Ticking while accelerating 04 f150

Just got my 04 f150 back from the shop, got a reman engine installed.

While driving next to a car with the window down, or next to a wall, I hear a ticking noise, coming from the right side only. This noise doesn't happen when the truck isn't moving and while turning the noise doesn't get louder. Putting a 3 inch lift on the truck soon and I would like to get what ever the problem is fixed while they have the suspension torn appart.

Thanks, Brady

There's a good chance the sound you're hearing is a cracked manifold. These trucks are known for that issue.
I have the same sound in my truck and it's pretty loud on a cold start up but dies down once it warms up. I can hear it when I'm next to stuff just as you can

My noise is always the same tick. Hot or cold. Just have to be next to something to hear the sound. Its quite annoying. Possibly cv boot? Maybe?
