Old stinkin' thread revival here. I just bought an 08 Expedition 5.4. I have a bluetooth ODB2 code reader/scanner and the Torque Pro app on my smart phone. I can only get to 76.5% throttle. Even after I did the diamonbird mod the results are the same.

Also I emailed with a guy at 5star tuning and he said "it opens only to 82% throttle thats all you need ". Is there anything that I can do to get my throttle readout to get closer to 100%??

I know one guy up the page here said to not push the pedal down too slowly when doing this trick....anything to that?

I had to do the on/off trick twice to get a slight noticeable difference. But I can feel it.

Did this Lil trick including moving the pedal back because it was in fact hitting the firewall.

Before diamondbird: sluggish and no tire breakage
After diamondbird: spun 35" duratracs for what felt like forever. Had to let off cause I was scared I'd attract attention.

I thought the damn thing had power before.. Boy was I mistaken.

Do do not listen to those people they are so full of crap you can up loosing to retighten 3 ten mm bolts and achieve anything but a waste of your time this is a drive-by-wire vehicle adjusting gas pedal will do nothing the gas bill trick to talk about will do nothing I'm certified as a Ford mechanic
