I did the pedal cal before heading to work. I think I felt a difference, but not really sure. I don't go full beans from the stop lights so maybe I'm not getting the full benefit from this????

Yea it works! Run it good after you start it, blow the ol carbon out of it! Lol. I'm able spin my tires with ease for the first time! Not that I want to kill my 285's... But definitely noticed more jump when I press the gas...

Default report!!

ok i cleaned my throttle body. it had very littler carbon build up compared to others.
then i looked at the pedal assembly. i noticed when i pushed it all the way down the pedal hit the firewall. it has 3 bolts connecting it to the bracket, the bottom two a slotted. so i loosened them all and pulled the pedel assembly as far up as possible and re tightened.
the i did the pedal trick as we call it, three times.

no my truck runs very smooth.. before i could feel it idle.
and its a responsive as a new car should be. i wont lie and say it turned into a 11to1 compression 302 with a 650 double pumper, but its what i should expect of a new car.

JUST WANNA SAY THANX TO ALL THE THREADS I REFERENCED, WITHOUT THEM I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO DO!!

use that search button guys its awesome!!

Makes sense that the firewall could restrict you from getting to WOT... But damn.. i don't think i've ever had the peddle to the floor with my truck.. even when i get the back tires to break loose...

i think over time you push the pedal out of adjustment because mine was at the other end of the slots when i started. just another bad design by some retarded engineer!! now at wot im a bit off the firewall.
my fav thing is how smooth it idles with the tb clean!!
