Default Throttle body spacer issue

so i popped in a Jet spacer on my '07 screw w/ the 5.4. it had a whistle so i used ultra black to seal it all, but still whistling! it drives ne nuts while cruising. has anyone else had this issue, if so HOW DO I FIX IT!! i may stab someone in the throat if this whistling doesn't stop! plz help me. thanx in advance.

Mine whistles alot too and Iv messed with it alot but the only thing that works is to take it off. Otherwise maybe use a different intake and air filter. I know most of the sound comes from the air flowing through the filter

Best way to fix it is to get rid of it.

Throttle body spacers don't do anything for EFI engines. They were originally made to allow more space for fuel/air to mix. Because that's all computer controlled now, they are (as said before) expensive paper weights.

the only way a TB spacer works is if the trottle body actually injects the fuel.. .. these engines do not ..they have injectors on a fuel rail... ..

and did i read that right you used black sealent on it..... i would remove that ASAP.. they all whistle.. if you dont like it i would take it off.. and pass that dude onto someone that fishes... i think they would make a pretty weight for a trot line

The whistling sound is normal. It is actually programmed into each TB Spacer at the factory. It indeed is a recording of the company CEO whistling all the way to the bank, after he ran away with your money for a useless part.
