Default 2004 5.4 3v

I really need some good help. My truck has been at the shop for a month. I got new timing chain kit and all the parts guide and all from ford. He install the chain wrong the first time. And now he says he has it right. It runs but when i hit the gas hard it sputter and pops. Any one has knowledge on this

Are u saying if timming is off it will do that. It will drive ok till i get on it a lil then does that.

if you mean back fire as "pop" then yes...it's either a timing issue or serious mis-fires...being that you just had the timing components replaced and as you mentioned he installed it wrong the first time.... and what do you mean by ....it runs ??

The truck does drive. But when i press gas hard it suptters. And pops
