Default to those with rough country 6'' lift

hey all, i have an 04 lariat. i just bit the bullet and ordered 35x12.5r18 nitto mud grapplers. right now i have a 1'' rear block and 2.5'' level (which is comeing out) and im putting in a rough country 6'' suspension lift with the kicker braces. my questions are, does this kit (from rough countrys website directly) come with EVERYTHING needed to lift it or do i need to order other stuff seperetly? and also i wanna get 18x9 dick cepek DC-2 rims with 4.5 backspace 0 offset. how will these tires mount? stretch to much or work good? and will this setup work with no rubbing or do i need to try different rims or offset/backspace ect.. thanks for any info!

I have a rough county lift too. It comes with everything you need. One thing I would get is shock boots for the back one thing I regret not doing. Also I have nitto Tera grappler 35x12.5 on 18 inch XD Monsters but a -12 offset. Makes the tires stick out about 2 inches. You will most likely need to trim your plastics on the bottom a tiny bit. I got plenty of pictures on my profile if you want to look

I have the rough country lift with 35x12.5 on a 9" wide wheel, they fit perfect. I have -12mm offset but I imagine the 0mm offset will fit just fine, give them a call they are very helpful with any questions you might have.

I just put the rough country 6" on last month. It has everything BUT if you have a level on the truck you will need the original strut caps that your level took the place of. I had a 2" level on mine when I bought it so I didnt have the OE caps. brought my install to a grinding halt. Allso, do not over tighten the nut on your cv shaft cause it will pop off super easy! Then your out another $100. Trust me, I know.

hey bro, on rough country's site it says under specs for the 6" lift that the wheel backspacing should be 4.5". now this is where i'm stuck as well, does anyone know can you go under or over the 4.5" backspace? example: can I fit a set of 20x9's with an offset of 12 and a backspace of 5.47?

Here maybe this link will explain it to you. It doesn't matter which offset you use as long as the backspace remains what rough country requires.

I have the RCX 6" kit on mine and I'm running 20's that have 4.79" backspacing without a problem. I have a little room to spare between the rims and the knuckles, so I would assume that you could go a little more without rubbing issues there. Yours would be about 3/4" more than mine and I would have to look to see how close that would be. The size of the rims has an effect on what backspacing you can get by with and I'm not sure what Rough Country used when they provided their specs. If you go under 4.5", you will not have a problem with clearance between the rims/knuckles, but that will cause rubbing issues in other places more than likely.

Default 5" vs 6" lift

I'm in the market to lift my 2015 F150 4x4. I'm am on the fence between a 5" and a 6" lift. I will be running 35x12.50R20 nitto trail grapplers with -12 offset 20x10 Fuel Mavericks. The questions I have are these:

Which lift requires more trimming?
Is there any way to avoid trimming the crash bars (like spreading them)?
Which offers a better ride?
How much rubbing will I get if I don't trim the crash bars?

Any input and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
