Default Tensioner pulley?

I have a rattling (bb's in coffee can/bad bearings) that is happening intermittently and can't figure it out. Was told cats were bad- replaced but still occurring. It's not heat shields or iwe. Will the tensioner pulley rattle at different times instead of whine? Tracking down this kind of stuff is annoying and near impossible by yourself. It only happens when driving/cruising and usually only when under slight load. Any deviation on the gas pedal and it goes away.

They tend to whine...BB's in a coffee can sounds like IWE ...

If I put it in 4hi and it doesn't do it would that pinpoint it to the iwe

Yes !! Put it in 4H while it's making the sound and see if it goes away... just make sure your speed is below 55mph and your driving straight, No turns.

Thanks tech rep I'll give it a try today. I thought the iwe would've been more of a grinding sound. Learn new things everyday and prove I'm ignorant everyday lol

So that was it. Started rattling and I switched to 4hi stopped immediately. So is it the actual iwe that needs to be replace or is it a solenoid? Thanks for your help tech rep!!!!

I'm at my hunting club now (1st day of bow season in Alabama) thought I would run into town and get one from advance but they want $43. I'll order it and fix it when I get back home.
