Default Temperature blend issues

I've been trying to search it out but am having a hard time nailing it down. My automatic air control is stuck on hot. Doesn't matter if it change it down to 60 still blows hot. This leads me to think its my blender door. It sounds like the motor is still working though. Which part do I replace? I talked to ford but that was pointless. Also they said they don't make just the blend door. Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to fordparts.com and type in your VIN. So a search for Blend Door and It will list parts and diagrams to give you a better idea of what you are looking for.

Thanks. Maybe I'm not exactly sure what's wrong. I thought there was a common problem that people fix. Maybe I miss understood.

Do asearch on here for blend door actuator. Stupid question but when you hit the ac button does your compressor turn on? Also is the display showing ac on when yiu hit the button? Im assuming that is automatic climate control.

Yeah the ac kicks on and everything. Just the temperature coming out doesn't change. That's why I thought it was the blend door itself. Also when I change the temperature you can hear a motor trying to run. That's why I wanted to make sure I changed the right part.

Yes automatic climate control.

The blend door rarely goes bad, the motor has a shaft that can strip out. or internally the gears strip out.

Remove your radio and glove box after that its a 5min swap.

Yea i was mostly referring to gim looking at the diagrams other than the door. I have run into that with the E Series Vans.
