I want a keypad for my drivers door but the ford dealer told me that my truck isn't prewired for it and that it cant be done.

They wanted a over $100 to hook the truck up to the computer to check if the truck's computer had a code for the key pad and then pull the panel off to see if it was prewired.
Thats bull and I wouldnt go back to that dealer for NOTHING! Check your owners manual/folder thing. There should be a credit card size card from Ford w/ a 5 digit code on (atleast my truck had this when I purchased). THAT is your keypad code. I didnt have a keypad, but had the code. I bought a handle, hooked it up, and waaalah! Plug and Play keypad handle.

Installing the mirrors is a breeze. If you know how to remove your door panel, your 3/4 of the way done. After its off, there are 3 bolts that hold it onto the door. Remove nuts, and there ya go. Damn I'm so leaving work at lunch to install these!!!!!

I have checked the book and I couldn't find a code for the power locks.

The dealer is the one I bought the truck from, I have one close to my house that I really dont like but I think I may go and talk to them to see if they can get the code and install the handle..

The cars is not in the book. Its in the zipup case the book came in, tucked in the plastic, atleast thats where mine was at.

Install the handle yourself. I did a post of how to remove your handle, and also posted pics of what needed to be undone for the handle to be removed. Its not that hard. If you put your tail lights in yourself, you can do all this as well.

Not trying to hijack the tread.

I just came from two dealers and they both said that I can not put a factory key less entry in my truck because it doesn't have the module or wires. I was told that it works independent from key fob remote.

Anyway

Did you get your mirrors? If you can post some pictures of them and how you put them on so we can see how they look.

Default Omg omg omg!!!

I so love these new mirrors. It took me 20 minutes to install them, and thats with removing the door panels and putting them back on. Sadly, they arent plug and play. The Power is to adjust the mirrors, but my harness is set up for just that (4 wires in my harness). I'll be doing a write up of how to retrofit your mirrors this weekend (weather permitting). Anyways...

I hooked these up, took the pics, ran out and picked up a trailer for this weekend from the property. The whole way I was using the concave mirror. Damn its awesome. I can see everything!!! Each side, I can see the car next to me from its bumper to its bumper. Before, I couldnt even see unless I leaned around and looked. Let me know. Also, I PTM the Saleen Grill I installed last week. You cant tell a huge difference, but I am stoked! Like a new truck again!
