The black dash surround is held on by clips. Just insert a flat plastic tool in between the dash and the piece surrounding the radio and it will pop rght off. You can use something metal but be careful that you don't scratch the dash. The radio is held in by 4 10mm screws.

so you mean the "wood grain" pice that is around it ? do i start at the top where the lill holder thing is up on the dash? and stop above the ash tray?
