Default Tailgate Step

Im assuming most of you have seen the tailgate step on the new 09 f150. I wonder if you can get a 09 tailgate on a 04-08, or do something similar to that. It's an awesome feature.

Default Tailgate step

I also think it's a great feature and I posed the question to a dealer in Texas. They told me that everything is new on the '09; nothing can be retrofitted to a previous model. This includes the tailgate, front grille, and even the radio.

Do some web search and you'll find at least a half dozen varieties of steps. Here are links to a couple...

Most all the after market companies have something - some designs better than others.
