I have a 2008 Screw FX4 and the the tailgate rattles when I hit bumps, and it keeps getting worse. Anybody else have this problem? Is there any way I can fix it?

are you sure its the tailgate??

my truck does this...and its the hitch...if you have a hitch take the hitch out and see if this does it still...

or check the spare tire under the truck...

YeahI checked all of that but no luck. I really think it is the tailgate, but not sure why it is rattling

hmm..have you tried taking it off or anything ..i will take a look at my tailgate tomorow and get a better idea where it could be rattling..... does your tailgate have the spring loaded deal..(i dont remember what they called that) ..its were its easy to shut..??

Is your tailgate closed? Do you have stuff in the bed? You don't have your ball mount in the receiver? Sometimes the most obvious are the answer. Or like previous post ^^ take off your tailgate & see if it still does it.
