Switchbacks

So I'm looking at the ACME 3157 Switchbacks from TRS. They suggest a hyperflash load resistor. Do I need that??.....Currently looking for truck parts from the Caribbean, ordering out of a shop in Georgia, for my truck in Michigan. This might be classified as an obsession now...

Only if you don't want to have hyperflash. An easier solution is to get a new turn signal relay rated for LEDs to replace the factory one under the dash.

Yep, that's it.

You don't need to take the panel off. Just lay in your footwell and look up. It will be attached to the body that the panel is attached to. You can slide it off the retainer, swap out the relay, and then (if I were you), zip tie it back up there.

What base model?
I took the little side panel on the side of the dash with the hole in it off for easier access to the flasher and such. It's just little plastic pins holding it in, it will come off with a little force. Turn on your turn signal and reach around in there until you feel the flasher ticking.
