switch??? next to lighter

Default switch??? next to lighter

ok,,, its been driving me crazy,, does anyone know what the little button does that is next to the lighter??? i have flipped it on and off and nothing seems to happen

If it is a big P and round its probably for back up sensors to turn off the alert when to close to something.

There are two switches installed from the factory there, one turns off the parking sensors when you're towing or close to an object like travisb05 stated, the other is traction control on the 2wd trucks. If you're truck is used, it could also be an auxiliary switch added by the previous owner.

its a 2005 FX4,,,, its been driving me nuts !!! it looks like a factory switch,,, but,, your right,, it might have been added on
